FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will the photographic coverage start and finish?

This is entirely up to you, however I usually start a couple of hours before the service capturing the bride with her friends and family as she makes her final preparations for the big day, and finish shortly after the first dance.

What will we do if it's raining on the day?

Do not let a little bit of rain worry you. If you have any concerns that it might rain on your wedding day, I might advise you to hire a few matching white umbrellas. These can actually make for some wonderful pictures, as the bride and groom make their way from the church together under a brolly, or the groom, his best man and ushers all walking under their own umbrellas. Should it really be too wet or cold outside for group photos, I have always been able to find a suitable place indoors to capture all the desired pictures.

How many photographers will attend our wedding day?

Generally one photographer will cover every aspect of your wedding day. Should you wish for a second photographer to be present we can provide this.

We would like a few arranged group photos, is this okay?

Of course. I will be delighted to arrange and take a few group photos. I will endeavour to take these as quickly as possible so as not to interfere with flow of your party.

We do not want any arranged group photos?

This is absolutely fine. I am here to record the day as you want it, and the best photos are often those where people are captured unaware, in natural conversation and laughter.

How long does it take to produce our wedding album after our wedding?

I will endeavour to get a draft digital album to you four to six weeks after your wedding (often it is very much quicker). Once you have approved the album design we will commence with the album's production. Our standard albums take two to three weeks to produce. Our Queensberry albums take six to eight weeks to produce.

Can we have a CD containing all the images in the wedding album?

Yes you can. This disk is included in my Silver, Gold and Platinum service packages.

Will our guests be able to view and buy duplicate albums and prints?

Yes. Following the wedding we will provide you (the wedding couple) a user name and login password to our "Client Area". From here you will be able to view the photos from your wedding day, and your guests will be able to buy prints should they wish.

How do we secure White Nuptials Wedding Photography services for our wedding day?

Once we have confirmed that we are available to cover your wedding date, you may secure our services with a £250 deposit payable by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

When is the remaining full balance due?

The photography balance is due one month before the wedding date.

What camera equipment do you use?

I use professional, high resolution Nikon digital SLR cameras, with the best possible lenses suited for the day.

Are you available to cover a wedding anywhere?

Yes I am. I would be delighted to cover your wedding where ever it is, particularly those in beautiful warm destinations! Depending on the venue, there may be additional costs such as travel and accomodation but this would be discussed and agreed before any bookings are made. We have already covered weddings in Sussex, Hampshire, Cornwall, Kent, Switzerland and Holland.

Are you insured?

Yes I am. I have public liability and professional idemnity insurance. To date, I have had no need to call upon my insurance. If you would like more details on this, please contact me.

Why is wedding photography so expensive?

We understand, that weddings can be expensive occasions. Venues, food, drink, wedding dresses, cars, accomodation, flowers... the list goes on, and we, as wedding photographers do not wish to add to your expenses, but rather provide something which you will savour forever and ever, and proudly be able to present to your friends and family in years to come.

Our fee is calculated considering the time, materials and quality of our service which we hope you will appreciate before your wedding day, and certainly afterwards.
